好书介绍 － The Alchemist

最近看了相当多的好书，但我前晚上看完了一本我个人觉得非常有精神满足感的一本书。

多亏Cherlyn的大力推荐，我从她那里借来了这本Paulo Coelho的〈The Alchemist〉。 我不知书名在中文怎么翻译，因我是看英文版的。



这本半童话故事的书，有如〈小王子〉一般，故事简单朴素但强而有力。故事讲一个牧羊少年，不顾众人反对，世俗引诱，和路途艰难，坚持寻找他的梦想， 书里称"the Personal Legend"。间接和暗喻似的带出我们每个人都有他自己的Personal Legend，及如何去寻找它的方法。

书中的角色并不多，其中鼓励牧羊少年去寻梦的The old king说了这样令人震撼的话：
"The world's greatest lie is: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what's happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate."

The alchemist对牧羊少年说："Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself. And that no heart has ever suffered when it goes in search of its dreams."　

还有一句更经典，书中不断重复的一句："When you really want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it." 这解释为何当我们对一些东西有强烈欲望时，往往会有一点点的Beginner's Luck吧！

总之，我强力推荐这本书给大家！

昨天中午我的同事，也是创价学会会友的Valarie传来了一个link，是一位已转世的会友的亲友帮她所设立的Blog。

心中流了一些泪水过后再陆续把她感人的故事传载给许多人。

读着她的故事，得到许多启发、许多感想。我为她的人生成就感到骄傲。

她的亲友们为她准备了一个别开生面的葬礼，以Celebration of Yvonne's Life为主题，用庆祝的方式来欢送她。连也是创价会友的演员Orlando Bloom和SGI会长池田先生也送来祝福语，可见她人生成就非凡。封棺当天和火葬后天空还两度出现彩虹，可见她就算离世后都愿意为世界留下美丽。
